West Berkshire Council is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Chris Boulton from Greenham Trust. Our heartfelt thoughts are with his family, friends, and colleagues at this very difficult time.

Chris was a greatly valued partner and friend to the Council, known for working collaboratively and with genuine care to improve the lives of residents across West Berkshire. His leadership and dedication were felt across many important initiatives with us, including chairing the West Berkshire COVID response group, supporting the Kennet and Avon Canal project, developing the joint mental health fund, and partnering with us to help residents facing financial hardship.

Chris brought warmth, generosity, and a strong sense of community to everything he did. His passion for cycling and art reflected his appreciation for life and his ability to inspire those around him.

Chris leaves behind a legacy of kindness, compassion, and community spirit. He will be deeply missed, and we are grateful for the profound difference he made across West Berkshire.
