Public Rights of Way Maintenance

As the Highway Authority for West Berkshire, we are responsible for around 740 miles (1000km) of public rights of way. You can find out more about our responsibilities for the highways on the GOV.UK website.

Our online map shows Public Footpaths, Public Bridleways, Restricted Byways and Byways Open to All Traffic (BOATs), and also stiles, gates, steps in our district.
