Students from schools across West Berkshire are coming together to discuss issues, how they would like to change things in their local area for the better. The West Berkshire Youth Council provides opportunities for 11 - 18 year olds to use their elected voice to bring about social change through meaningful representation and campaigning.

Over time, this area will develop and evolve for the Youth Council. Below is just some of the information that will be available, as well as sub sections to this page, including:

What are we discussing at the moment

In the last meeting we discussed what branding the Youth Council will choose. Students have gone back to their schools to create a logo for the Youth Council and the first vote for the Youth Council was to choose the logo that will represent the Youth Council going forward.  

How to join

If you are interested in taking part then email letting us know who you are, your age and what school you go to. If you are home educated you will be welcome to join as well.

As a young person in West Berkshire you can email your Youth Council and tell us what matters to you  - email your Youth council and they will put your ideas and/or concerns to the decision makers at the Council.
