Help with searching the Constitution

You can use symbols or words in your search to make your search results more precise:

Include words in your search

Put + in front of a word you want to make sure is in every result. For example, Licensing +Committee.

This can be helpful if there's a specific word you want to include in every search result.

Exclude words from your search

Put - in front of a word you want to leave out. For example, -Licensing -Committee.

This can be helpful if there's something that appears in the search results you don't want to know about.

Search for an exact match

Put a word or phrase inside quotes. For example, "Licensing Committee"

This can be helpful if your looking for something that uses that exact phrase.

You can use combinations of the methods above. For example "Licensing Committee" -Planning would find anything containing the phrase"Licensing Committee", unless it had the word "Planning" on the same page.
