Householder
You should use a Householder Application for Works or Extensions to a Dwelling for proposals to alter or enlarge a single dwelling, including works within the curtilage (garden area; each property has a residential curtilage, usually defined by a boundary, for example: a fence, hedge or wall) of a single dwelling.
For proposals to alter or enlarge more than one dwelling, or in relation to flats and maisonettes, you will need to submit a Full Planning Application.
You can find information about householder planning consent on the Planning Portal.
