A beautiful green space in Calcot with woodland, river basin, meadow grassland, play areas, sports pitches, a basketball court and changing rooms. Linear Park is a Green Flag Award winner and has an active Friends of Linear Park group.

Directions
By Car
From Newbury, continue along the A4 Bath Road towards Reading. After crossing the M4, turn right onto Charrington Road at the second roundabout, signposted 'Beansheaf Community Centre'. Follow the signs for Beansheaf.
From Reading, follow the A4 towards Newbury. Upon entering Calcot, turn left onto Charrington Road, follow sign for Linear Park.
There is ample parking at Linear Park, but please note that the car park is locked at dusk.
By Bus
Reading Buses routes 1 and 26 from Reading and Calcot provide a service stopping along Charrington Road.
Cycling or By Foot
The park can be accessed by car and cycle via Charrington Road. Cycle access is also available from most other access points.
Pedestrians can access the park via a range of access points along the perimeter. Holybrook Footpath 4 crosses the park.
