Early Years Funding Rates
Funding rates for Early Years Settings, including Early Years Pupil Premium and Disability Access Fund.
Please see the 2026-2027 early years funding rates for West Berkshire below:
- Funded 3- and 4-year-olds - £6.27 per hour
- Funded 3- and 4-year-old Quality Supplement* rate - £6.87 per hour
- Funded 2-year-olds - £8.68 per hour
- Funded under 2's - £12.33 per hour
*The quality supplement rate is only available to settings who meet certain criteria, including having a qualified teacher or equivalent working with their funded children. Please contact the Early Years Funding team to find out more.
EYPP and DAF rates for 2026/2027
Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP)
Children eligible for EYPP will receive an additional £1.92 on top of their funded hourly rate (up to 15 hours max). Find out more about EYPP here.
Disability Access Fund (DAF)
DAF is paid annually as a lump sum of £975. Settings can claim for children who are entitled to Disability Living Allowance. Find out more about DAF here.
