Book an appointment to visit Newtown Road or Padworth Recycling Centre

Please note that Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays) our recycling centres do not open until 11am. Please do not queue outside before the opening time. Access is needed for staff and emergency services, and queuing on the road may pose safety risks. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated in keeping everyone safe. - - We do not accept waste generated by commercial activity, including Charities, Sole Traders and LTD companies. Our recycling centres are for household waste only.
- - Please be aware that charges may apply for soil, rubble, plasterboard and tyres. You can find more information on these charges here.
- - Please ask a member of staff if you require any assistance when on site.
What vehicles can access our waste centres?
Can your waste be reused by someone else?
1. We see a lot of items in good or even sometimes new condition thrown away when it could have been repaired of reused by someone else. Please try and pass suitable items on for reuse or see if it can be repaired at your local Repair Café before throwing them away. Click here to find your local Repair Café. The Community Furniture Project have a donation point at our Newtown Road Recycling Centre or they can collect donations within West Berkshire free of charge.
