We're proud to extend congratulations to all our young people receiving their A level, Technical and Vocational qualifications this week and are delighted to report another year of strong performance in this year's examination results.

Based on provisional data, the percentage of young people in West Berkshire gaining A level passes (75.88%) stays broadly in line with the England average of 76.10%. 

Councillor Heather CodlingWest Berkshire's Executive Member for Children, Education and Young People's Services says,

"Once again, I'm delighted to see impressive results in West Berkshire! We're so proud of the hard work and achievements of all our young people and I'd personally like to thank school staff and students for their brilliant efforts. We know that parents and carers play a huge part in offering support and advice during what can be an extremely stressful time and would like to thank them too."

 "We wish everyone the very best for their future as they progress onto further learning, apprenticeships or employment. As a local education authority, we our students to receive the best education possible, and make sure they've been given every chance to succeed and pursue their chosen next steps with confidence."

 It can feel like there's a lot riding on A Level, T Level and Vocational Technical Qualifications (VTQ) results day, but if you don't get the grades you had hoped for, don't worry - there are many great opportunities to consider, including a wide range of educational options.
