The L-shaped 18th Century barns are spacious and rustic but elegant, and open up to a lawned courtyard ideal for reception drinks and garden games. Civil ceremonies can also take place on the lawn outside. A gorgeous bridal suite is available in the Manor House for getting ready and you are given a personal welcome in this family home. Marlston House is an exquisite listed country house school, set in sixty acres of beautiful gardens and parkland in Newbury, Berkshire. As it's a school, this unique wedding venue is only available during school half terms and holidays.
Hold your ceremony in our impressive and historic Council Chamber in the Town Hall. Oak panelled with a high medieval style beamed ceiling; the room is full of character but large enough to accommodate 55 guests. The hire fee includes an hour before and an hour after the ceremony; plenty of time for photographs in our picturesque listed building with its grand oak staircase.
