Maintenance of streetlights, illuminated signs and bollards.
You can report a problem with street lighting online.
Not all street lights in West Berkshire are the Council's responsibility. Some are provided and maintained by Parish Councils or Housing Associations. You will need to contact these providers directly with issues, faults or concerns.
Emergency Works
Our Street Lighting Team aim to attend to all emergency works within one hour of them being reported.
Emergency works can include knocked-down equipment, missing lamp doors or exposed wiring.
Routine Works
Routine faults are generally addressed within five working days of being reported.
Repairs may take longer if there are additional considerations - for example, where the underground connecting cable is not owned by the Council.
