Planning enforcement

How to report possible planning breaches, and how your complaint is handled.

Planning enforcement deals with breaches of planning control, for example: unauthorised development and unauthorised changes of use. Planning enforcement also includes making sure that decisions relating to both individual planning applications and the policies of the relevant development plan are correctly observed and put into practice.

On the pages below you can find out about and report a breach, find out how we deal with complaints and view our enforcement plan.
