West Berkshire Council adopted a 
Housing Grants and Loans Policy [763KB] in 2021.
The policy explains the housing grants and loans that are available to West Berkshire residents. These grants and loans are there to help residents with the costs of adaptations, essential repairs and home improvements. The policy also supports the aims of our Housing Strategy 2020 to 2036 to improve health and wellbeing by tackling poor housing conditions.
