Testimonials

See what people say about the support they have received.

Over the past four years, the EHA traded service has provided support to over 3,000 children and young people through individual, group and classroom interventions. Schools have reported that our Emotional Health Workers have had a positive impact in the school and lessened the load on existing ELSAs.

In addition the Emotional Health Triage service has helped over 2,000 children, young people and their families to get the right support to meet their needs, including many who have been referred on to the EHA's own Cognitive Behavioural Therapy based support service.

"It was really helpful as I was really down and now I am more positive with some breathing exercises to help if anything goes wrong."

Child

"The service we had was incredibly positive and improved my son's self-confidence and belief."

Parent

"I like that the EHA are great at getting the worries out of Children's heads and to give them things to do when they have worries."

Child

"I have sought help for my son for years now and to no avail. Since seeing the EHA he has come in leaps and bounds. We are now at a stage that I lost hope we would ever achieve. A massive thank you to everyone."

Parent

"The EHW has made a positive impact on the school in that she has been able to help parents who have been desperate for support. This has helped lessen our load on our existing ELSAs."

Teacher

"We have been calling for this type of intervention for over 20 years, and its working right here in West Berkshire.

"It is rightly attracting attention UK wide and beyond as others look to create their own EHAs. It is something that we should be hugely proud of and I would like to see it happening absolutly everywhere."

Richard Benyon, former MP, now The Rt Hon. the Lord Benyon
