Residents are invited to the next Community Forum in Lambourn, taking place on Wednesday, 25 March at 6.30 pm, to learn how West Berkshire Council can help them live healthier lives.

The session will be held at Lambourn Village Hall and will bring together the Council's Public Health team, local partners and the community to explore the support available to help residents stay active, well and connected.

The forum is open to everyone and aims to give residents the chance to ask questions, share experiences and better understand local health services. A panel of representatives will be available to answer questions throughout the evening.

  • The agenda for the event covers:
  • How public health works at the Council
  • The NHS and organisations such as Everyone Active
  • Support for those with health issues
  • Helping people to live active and healthy lives

Councillor Justin Pemberton, Executive Portfolio Holder for Community Engagement, Economic Development and Regeneration and Devolution and Local Government Reorganisation, said:

"Our Community Forums are a chance for residents to speak directly with the teams who support them every day. Public health plays a vital role in helping people stay well, active and connected, and this session will give residents a clear picture of the support available locally. Whether you have questions about staying healthy, accessing services or getting more active, this is an open and welcoming space to come and find out more."

Residents can attend in person. If you are planning to attend via Zoom, please email CommunityForumQuestions@westberks.gov.uk so that the joining link can be sent to you before the session. Residents are also encouraged to submit questions ahead of the event using the same email address by Friday 20 March.
