Evidence of capital, savings and investments:
Full bank statements for the last three months for all bank/building society accounts held by you/your partner.
Any certificates for premium bonds, National Savings Certificates, ISAs, stocks, shares and unit trusts held by you/your partner. We need to see evidence of any interest or dividends you get on investments and savings. The evidence you send must show details for at least the last three months. Documents dated earlier than this will not be accepted.
Evidence of earnings:
This means you and your partner's last five payslips if you are paid weekly, you/your partner's last three payslips if you are paid every two weeks, or you/your partner's last payslip if you are paid every month.
If you and/or your partner is self-employed, we need to see your accounts for the last financial year or, if you have been trading for less than six months, a summary of your trading records so far.
Evidence of other income:
Pension slips from a former employer or a letter from the court showing how much maintenance you/your partner are getting.
We also need to see evidence of any money other adults in your household people pay you for board and lodgings. Please tick the boxes if you are bringing evidence in.
Evidence of benefits, allowances or pensions:
Current award notices or letter from the Department of Work and Pensions/social security confirming how much you/your partner get.
Evidence if you are in receipt of Universal Credit:
You/your partner's Universal Credit award for each month since your claim began detailing a full breakdown of your award from the start of the claim and evidencing any breaks in the award. You can obtain this by logging into your account and printing a statement for each month.
Evidence of rent arrears:
An up to date rent statement from your landlord for the last 12 months, or since your tenancy began if you have lived in the property less than 12 months.
Evidence of any member of your households health problems/disability/other:
Such as GP/other medical professional supporting letter, Occupational Therapist report, Police report, supporting letter from Social Worker/other professional.
