Financial support at 18
We provide a financial gift on your birthdays and a £50 Christmas or other celebration payment.
We also provide discretionary payments based on your individual needs to support you in education or work this could include.
- provision of a laptop
- bus pass, or a bike - we will provide £200 for a bike and £50 for helmet and lock.
*Please note bikes are regularly stolen it is your responsibility to keep them safe, as we will not replace stolen bikes. - a one of payment of £90 towards a mobile phone.
- if you are not entitled to free NHS £70 towards glasses
- money towards driving lessons, a maximum of 5 lessons.
- provisional license
- we will pay for a passport or travel documents.
Separated young people without status
We will continue to support you with accommodation costs, weekly support and monies.
We may also provide discretionary payments based on your individual needs to support you.
Banking
We will support you to open a bank account and access your Child Trust Fund if you have one.
We will provide advice and guidance on setting up direct debits for your utility bills, saving.
