99% of children offered a Primary School preference

99% of children in West Berkshire have been offered one of their primary school preferences with 94% being given their first choice of school.

AnnMarie Dodds, Executive Director, People & Children's Services at West Berkshire Council says,

"We're delighted that we've been able to give so many children their preferred choice of primary school. Starting school is a milestone for both children and parents, and we know that getting the school they want makes a huge, positive difference.

"We always try very hard to offer as many children as possible one of their preferred schools and it's great that we're so close to achieving 100% this year. We wish everyone the best of luck as their primary education begins."
