Closure of Kings Road and Boundary Road - Newbury
Connection of services and resurfacing works from 31 May to 4 June 2023

Kings Road and Boundary Road (southern section) in Newbury will be closed for the connection of services and resurfacing works from 31 May to 4 June as follows:
- Kings Road will be closed from 31 May to 1 June from its junction with Boundary Road to its junction with Gordon Road.
- Boundary Road will be closed from 2 to 4 June from its junction with Railway Road to its junction with Kings Road.
Access to Hambridge Road will be via Mill Lane (Non HGV traffic), and its junction with A4 (Benham Hill).
HGV's will be required to enter and exit Hambridge Road via its junction with A4 Benham Hill/London Road.
Access to Boundary Road (southern section) will be via A339, Greenham Road, Stroud Green, as far as the railway bridge.
Residential access will be maintained throughout and the diversion will be signed on site. Notification letters are being delivered from this week to all those properties and businesses affected in the surrounding area. You can read the letter here which as more information on the closure:
