People who find themselves in caring situations may not think they need support, but caring can get very difficult at times and it is helpful for carers to know they are not alone and that there are people who can offer support.

There a number of events being run locally for carers including an information event at Thatcham Catholic Hall on Thursday 9 June from 10.00am-2.30pm, as well as an online sessions for Working Carers on Tuesday 7 June and on Wills and Power of Attorney on Friday 10 June.

These events are being organised by TuVida who West Berkshire Council commission to run the Berkshire Carers' Hub who are also running a range of social activities for carers throughout the week, both online and in-person, including sessions on mindfulness, as well as Tai Chi and bowling. There are opportunities to find out more about the support available to carers, as well as to make connections with others who are providing unpaid care to family or friends locally. See details of the events and book a place or call 0118 3247333/email: berkshire@tuvida.org
